About Lehman Routh
Lehman was born and raised in Telfair County and attended Telfair County Primary, Elementary, Middle, and High School. He attended Trinity Christian School in Dublin for two years while in middle school because Cathy was a teacher there at that time. He spent much of his childhood either on the four-wheeler, hunting, fishing, or out at the Wallace Adams Golf Course at Little Ocmulgee State Park. When he wasn’t in the woods Lehman was either at the Routh Realtors office, riding around showing properties or tagging along for appraisals with his dad, Billy.
Lehman quickly grew to love the business and developed a great appreciation for the land. He especially enjoyed interacting with people in the community and specifically recalls noticing the immense amount of pride people took in their properties and their way of life. He remembers going to the post office and the bank and everyone would stop and say hello and share the news of the day.
Over the years, he’d watched carefully and gone door to door with his dad to visit with businessmen and women, clients, and customers in and around the Middle Georgia area. He admired the fact that everywhere they went, someone had something good to say about his dad. Lehman never met anyone who wasn’t happy that they had done business with Mr. Billy and everyone seemed to come away with a good experience because of something Mr. Billy did.
Lehman’s mom and Office Manager, Cathy, spent many great years as a teacher. She also spent a lot of time working in the family business and Lehman says he always counted his family lucky because they’ve been able to work together as a family.
“I’m thrilled that my wife and I are able to follow in their footsteps and work together on a daily basis in the family business,” Lehman said.
Lehman earned his Real Estate license in 2005 and joined the family business. He took classes at Middle Georgia State University in Dublin and Cochran, and then went on to the University of Georgia. He then returned to McRae to work for Routh Realtors, LLC full-time and has been helping customers and clients buy and sell ever since.
Lehman held numerous positions on the Altamaha Basin Board of Realtors Executive Committee including President of the board. He is also a member of the Dublin Board of Realtors where he earned the Lifetime Membership to the Million Dollar Club, Georgia Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He is a current Member of Rotary Club of Dublin and member of the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Festival Balloon Festival committee.
Lehman married Sarah Routh on November 17, 2018. They welcomed their twin babies, Leh & Gal, to the family in July 2020. He earned his Associate Broker’s License in March 2021 and is currently an Appraiser Trainee. In his free time, Lehman enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, reading, and grilling out.
